A TikTok user who posts anti-aging skincare tips has revealed the four oils she uses to stave off wrinkles and look younger.

Cindy Currie, who promotes “aging gracefully,” shared her favorite blend of oils that make her skin glow: a concoction of castor oil, black seed oil, rosehip oil and frankincense oil.

In a video with over 77,000 views, she said it “all started with castor oil” — an oil she claimed is highly emollient and penetrates the skin deeper than any other oil, providing intense hydration.

It contains ricinoleic acid, which Currie explained is great for inflamed skin.

“It can help to fight acne-causing bacteria and prevent breakouts,” she said in the post.

Next in the mixture is black seed oil, which as thymoquinone as an active ingredient, a “super potent” antioxidant that supposedly protects the skin from “free radical damage and oxidative stress,” preventing premature aging.

It’s also anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, and helps balance oil production, making it good for both dry and oily skin, she claimed.

Currie describes rosehip oil, the next ingredient, as a “super powerhouse” due to its contents of vitamins A, E and C. Vitamin A promotes skin regeneration, vitamin C brightens the skin and vitamin E helps against free radicals, she explained.

The retinoids (vitamin A derivatives) in rosehip oil can help keep skin looking young by promoting the regeneration of skin cells, helping to mitigate the formation of scars, stretch marks and hyperpigmentation, she said.

The final ingredient is frankincense oil, which helps to promote skin cell turnover, reduce the appearance of scars and blemishes and help tighten and tone the skin.
