We know that Halloween is the spookiest season of the year. After a month filled with watching your favorite Halloween movies and decorating your lawn with Target’s viral eight-foot-tall Lewis jack-o’-lantern, it all culminates in a day that’s really just about the candy. So, there’s nothing scarier than running out of those sweet treats on October 31.

If you don’t want to play a candy-less trick on your trick-or-treaters this year, you have two options. One, stock up on candy now (we suggest the buckets from Sam’s Club) and hope that it’s enough, or two, call in M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad for backup.

That’s right, instead of designating someone to run to the store mid-Halloween night to see if there is candy left anywhere—or guiltily handing out the leftover apples from your fridge—M&M’s will save your Halloween by sending emergency candy your way.

How to Get Free Candy on Halloween

Starting at 3 p.m. on October 31, M&M’s is offering the services of its first-ever M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad. If you run out of candy during trick-or-treating, the team will bring a new supply directly to your neighborhood—and all within an hour of your emergency call.

The best part? The service and candy are completely free.

The Halloween Rescue Squad will work via GoPuff and deliver to participating locations of that service.

On Halloween, if you run out of candy, simply visit M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad site and request more candy to be delivered directly to you. M&M’s will take it from there and send a free candy delivery to you within the hour (and while supplies last).

Should you want to buy your Mars candy now, you can visit that same link from October 11 through October 30 to stock up for the big night. There, you’ll find all your favorite Halloween candy, like Snickers, M&M’s, Twix, Skittles, and more, available to purchase ahead of your trick-or-treating festivities.

Thank you, M&M’s; we’re sure you just saved a lot of households from arguments and crying children who don’t have enough of the “good candy” to trade with their siblings.
