I’m surely not alone in saying that being stuck inside at the start of 2020 got me maybe a little too comfortable with going braless. Whereas before I could fall asleep in a bra — yes, even underwire styles — I now don’t want one on my body longer than a few hours. But according to a number of celebrities and shoppers, there’s an easy solution that gives the illusion of a bra without the discomfort.

Nipple covers are Hollywood’s best-kept style secret, used by everyone from Pamela Anderson to Kate Hudson. Anderson used the hack to go bra-free on the red carpet while Hudson swears by them for everyday use; she told British Vogue this year that they’re always in her bag. “I have to bring [them] with me everywhere because I don’t like bras,” she said, adding that it keeps things from “getting too aggressive.”

And right now, tons of nipple covers that boast thousands of five-star ratings are up to 46 percent off at Amazon during the Prime Big Deal Days sale. The only downside is that October Prime Day ends tonight, so if you want to give this celebrity-approved style hack a try, I don't recommend waiting.

Voch Gala’s set of two reusable nipple covers is currently on sale for just $15. Designed to smooth and blur nipples, the adhesive silicone covers are available in three colors and two sizes. I find the styling hack useful for dresses with odd cutouts where bras aren’t an option because they prevent nip slips while also keeping things smooth, even in cold settings (which can’t be said for most of my bras). And according to Amazon shoppers, Voch Gala’s do just that.

“I’ve tried so many that either show under shirts, or don’t actually hide the nipple when cold. These are so comfortable… and fully conceal,” wrote one fan of the brand’s nipple covers. Another person was amazed that the style was “invisible under thin shirts.” “You can’t see the outline of them under thin tops, and it makes your breast shape look natural. Even as I’m nipping, it doesn’t look obvious,” they added. And per another shopper, “they give the smoothest transition from cover to skin.”

But just as important as their blurring, softening capabilities are how well they stick (IMO, if they slide around all day, might as well just go commando). And according to customers who have put them through summer’s hottest days, these are the real deal. “[I] used them on vacation [and] they’re waterproof, sweatproof, [and] heatproof,” raved one person. Another fan wrote that theirs “have been sweated in and washed multiple times and are still sticky,” while one other customer who deemed them a “staple” said that they’re still on the same pair they’ve worn over 30 times.
