Lush's New Bath Bomb Conveyer Belt Is Here for the Holidays

Folks, if you can believe it, our friends at Lush just made it even easier to shop for its beloved bath bombs. And quite possibly more fun, too. Just in time for the holiday season, the U.K.-based bath and body brand introduced its new sushi-style Cosmetic Conveyer Belt, which allows customers to see and shop for more than one hundred holiday-themed bath bombs at a time. Talk about a game-changer.

The Cosmetic Conveyer Belt will be available at three of Lush's largest retail stores in the U.K., including London Oxford Street, Liverpool, and Birmingham. Additionally, the belts will vary in size. The longest one comes in at a whopping 45 feet long, and the shortest is nine feet long. What's more: Each conveyor will be home to up to 106 Lush Christmas bath bombs, giving shoppers so much holiday goodness to choose from.

We don't know about you guys, but here at Allure, we couldn't help but think of the iconic conveyor belt scene from I Love Lucy (you know, the one with all the chocolates) when we heard about Lush's new shoppable addition. For those who don't recall the legendary scene, please enjoy the GIF below.

As if all of this weren't exciting enough, this mode of shopping also happens to be better for the planet, as each product on the conveyor belt will be 100-percent plastic-packaging-free. Instead, when someone purchases a bath bomb, it will be wrapped in a Lush Knot Wrap, a reusable gift wrap option made from organic cotton or recycled bottles. Because of this eco-friendly approach, Lush was able to save 31.8 million liters of water and nearly 1,331 pounds of equivalent carbon dioxide emissions. Very impressive.

This is amazing news from Lush — we only wish it had introduced the Cosmetic Conveyer Belt in the States, too. Here's hoping for the next holiday season. In the meantime, Lush's holiday collection is the real deal so definitely check it out, stat.
