The Lush 2019 Halloween Collection Includes a Mercury Retrograde Bath Bomb

It's September, and whether you like it not that means the Halloween appreciation season is upon us. Lush Cosmetics gets it: The cruelty-free brand is already amping up to release its annual collection of bath and body products dedicated to the season, with one of its most anticipated launches of the year. As expected, this year's Halloween offering from Lush will come full of pumpkin-scented goodies, ghosts, black cats, and everything else you love and expect from beauty collections this time of year. However, Lush has also added a delightfully unexpected astrological item to the mix.

This year, Lush is introducing the Mercury Retrograde Bath Bomb with its Halloween collection. You heard that correctly: There is now a bath bomb specifically designed to help you erase all the stressful mess-ups you'll inevitably encounter during the planetary event. The ingredients included in this delightful bath bomb combine to create an aromatherapeutic powerhouse that can relax the body and clear the mind. Lemon soothes mental stress, ginger and cinnamon stimulate and warm the body, while gardenia reduces inflammation.

Mercury retrograde is when the planet, which is associated with communication, appears to be moving in the opposite direction of its usual orbit. Astrologers have long theorized that it causes mass mayhem in the form the technological issues, scheduling mistakes, damaged personal relationships, and just about any other bad or inconvenient communication issue. Whether or not you also hold this belief, it certainly couldn't hurt to have a stress-reducing bath bomb on hand for retrograde-related mishaps. Lush is releasing it at the perfect time too: The most recent retrograde ended at the beginning of August and another will start October 31 and last until November 20.

Appropriately, the $8 Mercury Retrograde Bath Bomb and the remainder of Lush's Halloween collection will be available in Lush stores and on lushusa.com starting Friday, September 13.
