Lunch in the Park with Family Life Counseling set for May 24 at Central Park gazebo

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Family Life Counseling and Psychiatric Services will provide a free lunch in Central Park gazebo May 24 from noon to 2 p.m.

More: A spotlight on mental health during May

Activities will include live testimonials from individuals who are succeeding in recovery, free foods, snacks and drinks, a resource table staffed by Family Life employees and cornhole, other games and music, according to organizers.

The theme is "Next Generation Mental Health ― Taking mental health services to where they are needed."

Family Life Counseling provides numerous services including school-based services and general mental health counseling.
