Luke Combs' Pregnant Wife Defends Their 'Basic' 2-Bedroom Home

Luke Combs' wife Nicole Hocking is defending her family's living space.

The 33-year-old country singer's wife held a Q&A on her Instagram Stories where fans asked all kinds of questions, ranging from when the duo will start to build a nursery for their newest addition, to why they only live in a 2-bedroom home.

When asked if she started getting the nursery together for baby No. 2, Hocking explained that since they only live in a house with two bedrooms, the nursery would be the couple's room for the time being.

"We currently live in a 2 bedroom so his nursery will be our room until he moves in with Tex," Hocking explained. She did, however, reveal that the family would be moving out of the house in the next few years.

"I'm not going to make it too fancy since we're going to be moving in a few years anyway! I shared a room with my sister growing up and low-key loved it," she added.

Many fans appeared shocked to learn that the award-winning country artist and his wife live in a two-bedroom home, calling it "basic." One fan even asked why they decided to live in a smaller house, asking, "Can you explain why you and Luke live in a 2 bedroom house? That seems so basic lol."

Hocking seemingly mocked the question by responding with, "We're basic AF," alongside a selfie that featured a dramatic filter that made her eyes and mouth appear as though they were popping out of her head.

While fans appear confused, the couple's lifestyle seems to work for them and they have no time to be worried about what others think, as they are gearing up to welcome their second child.

The duo first announced that their 11-month-old son Tex was going to be a big brother in March.

Set to the tune of Combs' "Take You With Me," Hocking shared a montage of photos of the family of three posing for snaps in the woods while Combs held his son, who wore a onesie that read "big brother."

"Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September!!" she wrote in the caption.
