Luke Bryan’s Wife Caroline Went Above and Beyond to Get Him Back for His “Mean” Prank

Luke Bryan just learned a valuable lesson about payback from his wife, Caroline Boyer Bryan.

As some folks might remember from early April, the "Play It Again" singer posted about the prank he played on Caroline while she was riding her bike — specifically, he honked his horn loudly and caused her to tumble onto the grass. Some thought it was hilarious, while others called it straight up "mean."

Regardless, Caroline wasn't going to let that one fly. In response, she got her husband back recently with the help of the couple's nephew, Til. While Luke was away from the kitchen, Til hoisted Caroline up into a cupboard above the refrigerator. Moments later, an oblivious Luke walked in holding a can of Two Lane beer. Til then asked the American Idol judge to look for parmesan cheese in the fridge — and that's when Caroline opened the cupboard and attacked with a scream.

Her shriek clearly scared Luke silly, prompting him to throw his beer in the air and leap to the side. Once he figured out what had happened, Luke yelled, "Dang it!" while Caroline began laughing.

"Payback's a b--ch," Caroline told her startled husband at the end of the Instagram video.

Needless to say, Caroline's stunt was considered a total slam dunk. "Ruthless. I love it so much 🤣," one fan wrote in the comment section. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I AM CRYYYYING," another declared. "This is soooo good!! Well done!," a different fan said.

Of course, those who follow the Bryans on Instagram know that the couple regularly enjoys making fun of each other and goofing around. Just look at this pre-quarantine video of Luke "dancing." Caroline captioned the short clip, "Just because...he’s funny."

Luke and Caroline, who are parents to Tate and Thomas "Bo" Bryan, have now been married for 13 years. The pair has also raised Til and their nieces Jordan and Kris since 2014, following the deaths of Luke's sister Kelly and brother-in-law Ben.

By the looks of things, the family of seven is making the most out of their quarantine situation. Of course, the big question now is not if Luke will retaliate ... but when. All we can say is Caroline better be on her guard!
