The tiny town of Leesburg, Georgia, recently hosted three of music’s biggest names.

In an upcoming episode of American Idol, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie join Luke Bryan in his home town for a tour of his family peanut farm.

In a promo clip (below) that premiered during Sunday's episode, Bryan takes his fellow coaches to Leesburg to show them where he worked before he made it big.

"I was very proud to be able to take Lionel and Katy to our mill there in Leesburg where I grew up," the country star said in a voiceover.

Driving them in his pickup truck, Bryan pointed out the equipment he used to use.

"So I would come in every day and I would hop on one of them little tractors, and I would pull wagons 12... 14 hours a day,” he recalled.

Next, the three judges got into one of the tractors and drove it to what Bryan called “the dump pit.” His dad Tommy was there waiting to explain their task, bestowing the role of “dump man” on Richie. After giving them a rundown, Ryan and Perry unleashed thousands of peanuts from the machine to be sifted. Though a little late, Richie managed to press his assigned button on time.

"Ya'll know what that smells like, right? Smells like money — let's go," Bryan said, putting his arms around both judges as they walked out.

Decades later, the country crooner credits his work ethic and success to the lessons he learned working for his dad at the peanut mill.

“People are like, all the time, they’re like, ‘How are you riding on your tour bus? Doing shows? Aren’t you just exhausted?’ I’m like, ‘Nah, not really. If you’d like to work for Tommy Bryan at the peanut mill for three months out of the year, a hundred hours a week, I can give you a crash course in exhaustion,’” Bryan told Country FanCast in 2018. “‘Peanut dust in your ears and your nose and your throat.’”

The full American Idol episode will air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
