Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning Don't Agree on How to Tackle 'CMA Awards' (Exclusive)

Country Music’s Biggest Night is just around the corner and Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning will once again be paired up as hosts for The 57th Annual CMA Awards – and Parade has an exclusive first look at the odd couple.

Last year, Manning, who is happily back for seconds having had "fun" in his first go-round, said he had always wanted to host the CMA Awards because he considers them the Super Bowl of country music. This year, he says, “It’s an exciting night. I’m just honored to be there and be a part of it.”

This is the third consecutive year for Bryan, who says, “Audiences can expect to see great music, the big moments, the heart-wrenching moments. The CMAs always does such a great job at honoring the heroes, the superstars, and the next wave of talent. When you put all that in the room, it’s always a great show.”

Of course, the two disagree about how to go about their hosting chores.

“I think we both have our little things that we’re strong at and it’s fun to blend them together,” Bryan says. “I am a little more loose, off the cuff, and Peyton wants a play in.”

“I spend most of my time kind of nudging him, ‘No Luke, just read teleprompter,'” Manning joshes.

The initial lineup of performers for the CMA Awards includes Bryan, Jelly Roll, K. Michelle, Little Big Town, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton, Tanya Tucker and Lainey Wilson.

The 57th Annual CMA Awards will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, next day on Hulu.
