Luke Bryan is back on the road after several show cancellations do to illness. During a performance in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 17, he updated the crowd on his health and the response he's been getting from his fans.

The "Country Girls" singer was under a doctor's care for a "head cold" and forced to cancel concerts on August 4, 5, and 6. He returned to the stage on August 10 and 12 and "powered through"those performances before another cancellation on August 13. Luke was upfront with his fans and shared updates on social media, explaining that the situation was "heartbreaking" and "frustrating" for him.

During his Cincinnati show, he reportedly told concertgoers, "Finally my voice is back—I’m not 100%… Never in my career have I ever had to cancel a show, much less four, but man you really learn there are some a**holes out there," according to Country Now.

The 47-year-old reportedly continued, "But we’re not gonna focus on one a**hole. I want to thank all the fans that have my back and supported me… Thank y’all so much!" Country Now reported that Luke was talking about one fan in particular who was giving him a hard time on social media.

But in true Luke fashion, at the end of it all, he showcased his sense of humor, saying, "Over the past couple of weeks I’ve lost a tremendous amount of money. I’m gonna need y’all to buy a couple extra t-shirts tonight."

After the concert, he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Show was great tonight. Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes. Sorry for the inconveniences to my fan the last few weeks. Love y’all."

Luke's tour continues through October, with dates across the country, and he recently announced that he has extended his Las Vegas residency with new dates into January 2024. Plus, he'll be retuning to host season 22 of American Idol in the spring. We hope he finds some time in his busy schedule to rest up!
