BRB, grabbing our cowboy boots just in time for the rodeo! A little birdie told us Luke Bryan will be there too...and by little birdie we mean the American Idol judge himself.

Shortly after tearing down the house at Nashville's Big Bash for New Year's Eve, Luke is heading back to the stage in a major way. The "Country Girl" singer took to Instagram for a special announcement, and let's just say it's some of the best news we've heard all of 2023.

In a post captioned, "JUST ANNOUNCED! March 19th, Luke will be back at the @rodeohouston for the big show," it was revealed that Luke will be one of this year's many performers at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The event's name already has our name written all over it, but add a dash of Luke Bryan into the equation, and you can definitely count us in.

If it wasn't obvious enough from the comments on the post, fans are ready for the rodeo and have already started grabbing tickets. "I have tickets already," boasted one fan. "Can't wait to see you at the Rodeo" and "Can’t wait!! See ya soon, Luke! 🤠" commented others.

The country singer performs live Sunday, March 19, but that's just the beginning. With a long lineup of some of the biggest names in music — Jason Aldean, Walker Hayes, Ashley McBryde, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton, New Kids on the Block — Luke wraps up the month-long event.

Until the rodeo comes around, we'll be watching Luke take on his usual role as "the nice judge" when American Idol premieres February 19th on ABC and Hulu.
