Lucy Hale Says She's Thinking of Going Blonde Like Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez isn't just one of Lucy Hale's doppelgängers — she's also her hair inspiration.

Lucy recently told People that she's planning a big hair transformation, and she's thinking of following Selena's footsteps and going blonde. "I’m getting my hair done in like a week, and I don’t know what I’m going to do but it will probably be something drastic because I don’t have to film for a little bit," she explained. "I could be coming out with a different color. I have to do something different because I get so bored."

Then, she referenced that infamous moment we all remember where Selena showed up at the 2017 AMAs with a blonde, chin-length cut. "I saw Selena [go blonde] and she looked so good," Lucy said. "I was like ‘Yes!’ That was good inspiration. When it comes to beauty, I would try anything."

She really means that — she's said in the past that she'd even shave her head. She has the same attitude toward what she wears, she told People: "I’m at a point in my life with fashion where I’m just having fun with it and trying new things. There are no rules!”

If Lucy goes for Selena's look, it'll be quite a time investment. Two stylists spent nine hours redoing her long brunette locks. But the end result was nothing if not eye-catching. If Lucy's after a dramatic change, that just might be the perfect look for her. Plus, she and Selena would look even more like doppelgangers.
