Lucy Hale Costarred in a Pilot with Meghan Markle & "She's So Beautiful"

• The Pretty Little Liars star explained in a new interview, "I remember at the table read I was like, 'Oh my god, she's so beautiful.'"

Most people won't realize that Lucy Hale has a special connection to the Duchess of Sussex.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight this week via Zoom, Hale revealed that she met Meghan Markle years ago when the pair worked together on a TV show, early in both of their careers. Hale explained, "I didn't realize this because none of my scenes were with her, but it was an ABC pilot. I had just moved to Los Angeles. I was like 16."

Hale continued, "It was called Secrets of a Small Town, and she was in that pilot. I remember at the table read I was like, 'Oh my god, she's so beautiful,' but I don't think I ever spoke to her."

Sadly, Hale and Markle haven't stayed in contact since then, but it's incredible to know that the Katy Keene star worked with the duchess so many years ago. As for whether she's had any recent with contact with the Duchess of Sussex or her husband, Hale admitted, "I've never met Prince Harry. Only in my dreams," which is probably a relatable sentiment for many people reading this right now.
