If cereal is your favorite breakfast food, we’re about to make your day. Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes cereal is coming to grocery store shelves, and might be the most perfect breakfast combo ever invented. We can all get our sweet, sugary fix starting in early January of 2018, Refinery29 reports.

We can never get enough of both Lucky Charms and Frosted Flakes. Those crunchy little marshmallows, and those sugary cereal flakes? Yes, please. And we thought the invention of a cereal bar, Cereal and Such, was exciting. Or that you could buy a box of cereal containing only the marshmallows from Lucky Charms. So Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes is a dream come true.

But it’s worth noting that the new super cereal doesn’t actually contain “official” Frosted Flakes. Lucky Charms and Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes are products of General Mills, while Frosted Flakes is a product of Kellogg’s. It appears that General Mills may be trolling Kellogg’s a bit here. Yep, “frosted flakes” is too generic a term to be trademarked, so General Mills is free to use it at will. Meanwhile, the majority of consumers will see the name “Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes” (and the box’s distinct white lettering against a blue background) and just assume it’s the Frosted Flakes they know and love.

Well played, General Mills.

Prepare your taste buds for Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes.

General Mills released Lucky Charms back in 1964. Meanwhile, Kellogg’s debuted Frosted Flakes in the U.S. in 1952. Suffice it to say, both cereals have been staples in our kitchen cabinets for a lonnng time, and now we’re grateful we won’t need to choose one over the other, or mix the two up ourselves.

An 11.5 oz box of Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes will retail for $3.99. A 20.9 oz box will be $4.99. We’re preparing our bowls, spoons, and milk as we speak!
