*Spoilers from Emily in Paris below!*

Emily in Paris is back for season two, and what would a trip to the City of Love be without some romance? As Emily navigates through last season's love triangle between her, Gabriel, and Mathieu, a new suitor emerges as the perfect distraction.

An assignment in her French class forces Emily to partner with her charming yet cynical (and extremely handsome) classmate Alfie. A London native, Alfie is equally unimpressed with all things French and all things Emily—at least at the beginning.

Lucien Laviscount dished on his new role as Alfie during a chat with the WWD in December 2021. "How would I describe Alfie? I'd say he is all for the moment, lives in a sheltered world that he's created for himself, that has little peepholes out of it," Lucien said. "And I think Emily makes some peepholes open up."

Landing such a prominent role on a popular show has made an enormous impact on the 29-year-old. "I've had the best year of my life," he beamed, "and Paris is honestly a character within itself."

Lucien's character has left many viewers (🙋🏾♀️) wondering who he is and how he ended up on Emily in Paris. If you're dying to learn more about him, you are not alone. Here's everything we know about Lucien Laviscount.
