Luciana Barroso looked stunning at the 2024 Golden Globes Awards, where she wore a little black dress that carried her late into the evening. The furniture designer, who also happens to be Matt Damon’s wife of almost 20 years, was photographed smiling and holding hands with her actor husband as she left HBO’s after-party at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
The mother of three took a break from wearing her go-to shade of red for the special occasion, stepping out in a sultry black bustier dress with a high slit and molded cups. Since the evening was rather chilly, as so many red-carpet guests noted, Barroso topped everything off with an oversized black tuxedo jacket. She accessorized the gown with a pair of black stiletto pumps and shimmering drop earrings.
The sexy high-slit-and-bustier combo brings to mind another iconic awards season look: Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace gown from the 2012 Oscars.
Although Luciana Barroso’s, hubby Matt Damon, was clad in a classic black tuxedo and white shirt, the Golden Globe–nominated actor took the opportunity to debut a new look on the red carpet: His naturally graying hair. The silver-fox vibe is clearly going to work for him, though, based on the internet’s thirsty reaction to his salt-and-pepper strands.
Damon was nominated for best performance by a male actor in motion picture, musical or comedy, for the Nike film Air, which was itself nominated; neither was a win. However, Damon took the stage with his fellow Oppenheimer cast members when that film took home the award for best motion picture (drama). He was also on hand to present the award for best director with the help of his longtime friend and Air costar and director Ben Affleck. In a candid video posted by The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck—who arrived late to the event—can be seen stopping by Damon’s table once inside, where they subsequently shared a laugh and a hug.
