Lowe's Is Giving Away Custom Gingerbread House Kits

Most gingerbread house kits come with a single design in mind, one that often resembles a quaint cottage. But if a woodsy escape isn’t your ideal holiday home, Lowe’s is giving away custom gingerbread house kits you’ll want to get your hands on.
Starting December 6, shoppers can register here for the chance to get a free Holiday House Kit from Lowe’s on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each kit comes with a toolbox that includes everything you need (think: gingerbread, candy, and frosting) to make an edible city townhouse, tropical cabana, traditional home, or mid-century modern oasis. Once registered for a kit, shoppers can pick them up at the customer service desk at their local Lowe’s from December 9 through 13.
Better yet, those who lock down one of these kits can tune into the retailer’s virtual event hosted by the family experience company Camp. During the event—dubbed The Great Holiday Home Showcase—on December 18, shoppers can build their houses alongside Lowe’s and its holiday hosts.
The kits come as part of a larger holiday campaign at Lowe's, which also includes the retailer's first-ever 100 Hometown Secret Santas project, which provides 100 community advocates across the country with $2,000 in Lowe's gift cards to gift everything from holiday decor to appliances to deserving individuals and organizations.
