The Low-Maintenance, Sheer Pink Polish That Makes My Brittle Nails Look Naturally Healthy

For whatever unfair reason, the universe decided to burden me with perennially thin, brittle nails that peel and break the second they grow past my nail beds. As much as I'd love to have long, strong talons, I've grown to accept this fate and only partake in nail enhancements like gel and acrylics (the removal of which tends to cause further damage and thinning) for very rare, special occasions.
Having grown accustomed to DIY manicures during Covid, I do my best to keep my nails healthy and presentable at home. And while I dabble in solid colors (and even the occasional press-on), they tend to start chipping within a few days. So I'm a big fan of low-maintenance sheer nudes and pinks, as any mistakes or chipping are far less noticeable. And there's one that I've found to be superior to others I've tried: Tenoverten's Eldridge, a very pretty pink with a jelly-like finish.
It's very accurately described by the brand as "a sheer watermelon pink enhancer that imparts instant radiance." Sandwiched by a good nail-strengthening base and shiny top coat, just one layer of the polish transforms my deathly nails into those of a normal, healthy person. I've even gotten compliments on how healthy and shiny my nails look — hilarious.
Two or three coats give more of an impact and almost a "jelly nail" appearance, but the look is still very natural and glow-y. Bonus: Like all of Tenoverten's polishes, it's 8-free, cruelty-free and vegan.
