ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Loving Thunder Therapeutic Riding Inc. works to empower and improve the quality of life for people with physical and mental disabilities through therapeutic horsemanship.

Co founder and executive director of Loving Thunder Twuana Raupp says this type of therapy helps with sensory input, body movement and mental health. During the month of May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month, Loving Thunder has its Seen Through Horses Campaign. This campaign helps raise awareness and funds for nonprofit organizations that incorporate horses with therapy.
