Love Lies Bleeding Gets Steamy New Trailer and Release Date

Praise has been pouring in for Rose Glass' sophomore feature, Love Lies Bleeding, since its Sundance debut.

Landing a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes from 40 reviews, critics have dubbed the film "an achingly sapphic tale of blood feuds and small town bondage" that is "a thrilling ride from start to finish".

Now, A24 has shared a sparkly new trailer showing off the brilliance of Kristen Stewart, Katy O'Brian, Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco and Ed Harris.

Described as "an electric new love story", Love Lies Bleeding follows a reclusive gym manager called Lou who falls hard for Jackie. Jackie is an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream, but their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou's criminal family.

In addition to the trailer, we now have a release date for Love Lies Bleeding.

It will be available in select theaters from March 8 and everywhere on March 15.
