Netflix on Thursday unveiled the final trailer for the third volume of its popular animated anthology series Love, Death + Robots.

The series, which is created by Tim Miller and David Fincher, showcases various animation techniques by inviting different teams of artists and screenwriters to create short stories on the fantasy-meets-sci-fi spectrum. The trailer offers up a sneak peek at both ultra-realistic 3D episodes and fully 2D stories, while also paying homage to British philosopher Alan Watts by playing his "The Dream of Life" speech.

According to the official logline, the next installment sees “terror, imagination and beauty combine in nine new episodes which stretch from uncovering an ancient evil to a comedic apocalypse, telling startling short stories of fantasy, horror and science-fiction with trademark wit and visual invention.”

The voice cast features Rosario Dawson, Joe Manganiello, Christian Serratos, Jai Courtney, Mackenzie Davis, Joel McHale, Seth Green, and Gabriel Luna. Notably, volume three will mark Fincher's first time directing animation.

Love, Death + Robots volume three will arrive on Netflix on May 20. Watch the final trailer above.
