If you've been obsessively watching Netflix's Love is Blind like the rest of the country, you might have taken note of an odd continuity error during the series finale.

If not, prepare to fire up Netflix again for a quick review, because this is pretty fascinating: During Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli's wedding (and the brutal aftermath), viewers noticed something strange about Gigi's dress.

After Gigi was rejected by Damian at the alter, she famously took off running, falling down a muddy hill, and soiling her wedding gown. It's basically the stuff memes are made of:

But later in the episode (after the fall), Gigi and Damian are shown having a heated conversation...and her dress is completely clean. So what gives?

In an exclusive interview with Metro, show producer Chris Coelen explains to viewers that this actually wasn't an error at all. Apparently, Giannina's mom cleaned her dress before the confrontation with Damian was filmed.

"What you see ... is a condensed version of what happened," Chris said. "She was out there with her mom in that parking lot for 45 minutes—maybe even an hour. She went back into the house with her mom," Chris went on, "She was stewing, steaming, and destroyed emotionally. Her mom, as you can tell, is this caretaker-type person. She and her mom were upstairs in the bridal suite, her mom is cleaning her up."

Coelen also points out that the scene where Gigi confronts Damian took place hours later, after everything from their ceremony had been cleaned up.

"You'll notice when Damian and Gigi reunite in that scene, all the chairs are packed up. When she ran out, the guests were basically stunned and piled out. Gigi comes back, and all the chairs are put away, everything's been cleaned. It's a couple of hours later. It wasn't instantaneous."

Interesting explanation...but I'm calling bullsh*t on that. Every woman who's shelled out hundreds of dollars to have her wedding dress cleaned knows you can't just scrub stains out of a gown with a little soap and water from the bathroom. There's no way Gigi's dress could have been restored to its pristine white glory that fast—especially with the type of mud stains Gigi picked up sliding down that dirt-crusted hill.

On the off-chance that Giannina's mom does have some sort of magical stain-removing solution that can wipe clean even the dirtiest of wedding gowns....can you please share it with us? I'll be waiting.
