The hub of Fashion Week turned up after-hours to celebrate the launch of Love 21 at 180 The Strand’s The Store X. The event shut down London Fashion Week in classic British underground-party form: a rave. The event, cohosted by Love Magazine editor in chief Katie Grand and guest editor Harriet Verney, was set with a transformative light production and tropical accents. Guests, including Paloma Faith in a slime green feather frock, showed up in an elevated rave style, one that took grunge to glam.

While London’s electronic dance scene is a common ground for the young, the night gathered partygoers of all ages to celebrate the magazine’s latest issue with an endless supply of Perrier-Jouët and Ciroc. Dressed in a sharp wool suit with leather detail and a top hat fit for an evening with the royals, Antony Price proved that even the most established can take the night off. From models including Adwoa Aboah, Elfie Reigate, and Anna Rubin to designers such as Matty Bovan, who presented his Fall 2019 collection just a couple of days prior in the same exact space, guests at the event created a literal mosh pit of fashion lovers and makers. Love was definitely in the air, no pun intended, pulling one of the most popular British couples, Brooklyn Beckham and Hana Cross, to make an appearance. As the red and blue lasers dimmed and the house music faded, Love’s 21 party wasn’t really ending—it was just beginning.
