Louis Tomlinson Says He Thinks He Will Marry Eleanor Calder

“And more kids, I'd say so.”

Louis Tomlinson and longtime GF Eleanor Calder may not be engaged yet — but that doesn’t mean wedding bells aren’t in their future at all.

In a recent interview with The Sun, the One Direction singer shut down the engagement rumors that seem to follow the couple wherever they go. “It isn't true,” Louis stated matter-of-factly, adding: “But the luxury with Eleanor is I've known her since before our first single, 'What Makes You Beautiful,' so she's felt the whole growth of everything. As I've got to understand it, she has too, and I have the benefit with her that we've seen it for what it is.”

All of that said, we just might learn of a proposal from Louis to Eleanor someday in the future. “If you're asking me if I'm going to marry her? Yes, I think so!” Louis told the outlet. “And more kids, I'd say so,” he added, referring to his son, Freddie, whom he coparents with former partner Briana Jungwirth.

Louis and Eleanor have been linked for nearly a decade, since they were first spotted together in 2011. They called it quits in 2015 before reconciling and getting back together two years later. Louis welcomed his son into the world in 2016.

We’ll have to wait and see what exactly remains in store for Louis and Eleanor’s relationship, but it’s clear that the two have been through a lot together — something that is reflected in his new solo single, “Walls,” as he explained to The Sun. “It’s looking back at a certain time of my life, and I’m sure there’s lots of people who can relate to that idea of being alone and waking up, being used to having someone there, then they’re not,” Louis said before adding: “It’s a bit of, ‘Oh no, I’ve f*cked it up.’ But I’ve understood that now, and I’ve come back stronger.”
