Lottie Tomlinson Dyes Her Hair "Awkward Peach"

It's even better than rose gold blonde.

Makeup artist Lottie Tomlinson (if her last name looks familiar, it's because she's Louis Tomlinson's sister) has proven herself to be one of the biggest beauty stars to watch. Not only has she created looks for stars like Selena Gomez, she also mesmerizes her 3.3 million followers with each new candy-colored makeup tutorial. Recently, she took to her Instagram page to share a photo of her new hair color and her followers freaked out. Her usual platinum-blonde strands have now been made over with what she's calling an "Awkward Peach" hue.

The color was created by hairstylist Tash D'Allura using Bleach London. The shade itself falls halfway between blorange and rose gold blonde, but the "awkward" seems to refer to the strategic placement that's a bit more emphasized than balayage or highlights. Tash painted the front pieces of Lottie's hair and then shaded in the ends for an ombre effect (that, FYI, doesn't look awkward at all). Instead, the technique created a cool contrast between Lottie's icy blonde and the bright peach pieces of her hair. By keeping each section of color perfectly blended, Tash gave the vibrant hue a softer effect that looked totally seamless.

This isn't the first time Lottie has experimented with out-of-the-box colors on her hair (remember when she broke the Internet with her rainbow roots?). We thought we'd seen all the blorange and rose gold blonde looks the Internet could come up with, but this could be our favorite yet. Check out her so-called "awkward" makeover below:
