How Lori Loughlin's Prison Sentence Is Going, Three Weeks In: 'No One Has Tried Any Sh*t With Her'

Lori Loughlin is currently a couple weeks into her two-month prison sentence, and naturally, People got an update from a source who has spoken to Loughlin about how she's doing three weeks in. The outlet regularly ran updates on Loughlin's state of mind before entering jail (she was "terrified" and "losing sleep" over it), so their jail update is not surprising.
The outlet's source said that Loughlin has adjusted, but her first day was rough. “She was a little weepy on her first night there," the source said. "But she pulled herself together quickly. Now she’s resolved to finish her sentence with her head held high."
Loughlin checked herself into FCI-Dublin on October 30. The actress took a plea deal with jail time attached after paying $500,000 with her husband Mossimo Giannulli to make it appear their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella were rowing team recruits to guarantee the girls' admission into the University of Southern California. She will also pay a $150,000 fine, have two years of supervised release, and 100 hours of community service. Olivia and Bella are now no longer enrolled at USC and haven't been for a year.
The source added that Loughlin isn't being treated badly by other inmates.
"She has not had any specific problems," the source said. "No one has tried any sh*t with her. No one is bullying her. The guards aren’t treating her any differently than other inmates."
People's update stands in contrast to Us Weekly's dispatch on Loughlin's state just days into her prison sentence. Us ran its report on November 4, with one source calling Loughlin a "wreck" in jail.
"Lori tried her best to be brave and look at the end result but there was nothing that could dissipate her fears,” the source said. “It’s only two months but she’s dreading it. Her mind keeps telling her that something will go horribly wrong in prison or that her stay could be prolonged.”
