Lorena Durán Returns With a Bang for SI Swimsuit 2023 Issue

Lorena Durán is once again putting on a show-stopping display in the annual issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

After making her debut as a rookie in 2020, the Spanish-born model is back for more—and she definitely made a splash in the sports magazine's 2023 spread.

The 29-year-old brunette bombshell came out swinging in her first photos for the publication in 2020, where she broke down barriers by showcasing her natural figure and representing curvier women everywhere.

Durán has been in the modeling industry since she was just a teenager, and throughout her prolific career, she would go on to be known for her Victoria's Secret campaign in 2019, becoming the brand's first-ever curvy model.

She was unable to return to SI Swim in 2021 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, but she later came back for the 2022 issue, with a jaw-dropping photoshoot in Montenegro.

"I am so happy to return another year with my Swimsuit family," she said last year. "It really is a family, and I want to continue supporting diversity with them. For me, it’s super important to have diversity and help women feel good and love their bodies. SI does that."

Durán has long been dedicated to advocating for diversity and representation, and she prides herself on promoting body positivity and inclusivity with each and every project she partakes in.

“Working for SI Swimsuit has been a dream and becoming more visible allows me to leave a legacy that helps more women feel good and love their bodies,” Duran previously said. "I’m working on a new brand for all body types that's unisex and diverse. The world needs more brands that support diversity.”
