Here’s a quick roundup of the latest drops and collaborations from leading denim brands.

AG

AG reached into its archives for its latest drop.

More from Sourcing Journal

The Los Angeles-based premium denim brand relaunched the Angel, a bestseller from the early 2000s. Described as AG’s “most flattering and in-demand jean,” the low-rise bootcut is available in the original 31-inch inseam and a new “extended cut” with a 33-inch inseam.

The Angel is available in a dark wash called Havana, vintage-inspired 22 Years Whisper wash and white. The jean comes in sizes 23-33 and retails for $215-$245.

Ksubi x Trippie Redd

Australian streetwear brand Ksubi teamed with platinum chart-topping rapper Trippie Redd on a capsule collection that mirrors their “outsider DNA.”

The 21-piece collection spans punk-inspired T-shirts and ripped and shredded jeans. The Skeleton Biggie Hoodie and Trak pant set made from premium fleece fabric has a removable fabric face shield as a unique modification to a classic hoodie. T-shirts feature graffiti-style graphics.

Denim highlights include the Maxx Zip Off Cargo, a wide-leg jean that has two zip functions on each leg to create three different leg length options; the Anti K Devils, a straight leg, baggy jean with Ksubi x Trippie Redd artwork embroidery on the front and back; and the Bronko Trip Spliced bootcut jean with contrasting panels from the knee to the hem.

“When it comes to both music and fashion, I never like to be put in a box. I express myself fully without any boundaries which is why it made sense to link up with Ksubi. I wanted the collection to feel authentically me, and I’m excited to bring new designs to Ksubi that aren’t typically what they’ve done before and to bring that vision to life,” Trippie Redd said in a press release.

The Ksubi x Trippie Redd collection is available now at Ksubi’s stores and website as well as select retail partners like Neiman Marcus.

Primark x Rita Ora

Distressed denim is part of Primark’s third collection with Rita Ora and her stylist Pippa Atkinson.

The expanding retailer recently launched the Spring 2024 line, which incorporates the pop star’s style with playful floral prints, lace and feminine colors.

Light wash denim anchors the collection, offered as a vest, maxi skirt and collarless jacket. Frayed styles like denim shorts, a bandeau top, wide-leg jeans and maxi skirt have a grittier look. Light wash denim is also carried into accessories spanning platform mules, platform sandals, embellished ballet flats, kitten heels, a shoulder bag and a flower belt.

A mix of casual and dress items round out the collection, including pastel suiting, ruffle camisoles and maxi dresses, mesh tops and open-knit cardigans.

Primark said 60 percent of the clothing range contains recycled or more sustainable materials including all the denim pieces.

“This collection is one of my favorites, as all our denim has been designed from recycled materials or to be recycled at its end of life, whilst also bringing that perfect ‘Rita edge’ to the softer pastels and floral finishes you will see in our clothes. This is the perfect range to help you transition from those darker winter nights into the freshness of spring,” said John McCormack, head of fashion trends at Primark.

Forever 21 x Ford

Building off its collaboration with Dickies and Gen Z’s growing interest in car culture, Ford has teamed up with Forever 21 to launch a collection that combines American heritage with nostalgic denim styles. The men’s and women’s collection “reintroduces today’s generation to a bygone era of quintessential Americana that saw car culture at the forefront,” Forever 21 stated.

The 28-piece collection includes classic imagery of Ford Motor icons the Mustang and Bronco, vintage washes, embroidered patches and retro silhouettes.

The men’s assortment includes a denim button-down shirt, carpenter jeans, a mechanics shirt, cargo shorts and a faux leather moto jacket. The women’s line spans a zip-up denim moto jacket, denim miniskirt and a halter mini dress. Hoodies and graphic tees, an assortment of vintage-inspired caps and unisex coveralls round out the collection. Some items are also available in kids’ sizes.

Sizes range from S-4X in women’s and S-XXL in men’s, with prices at $17.99-$79.99. The Forever 21 x Ford collection is now available at Forever 21 stores and website.
