So It Looks Like Kylie Jenner Waited for Kourtney Kardashian’s Okay to Be Friends With Sofia Richie

• According to a source, Kylie waited until her sister Kourtney Kardashian was okay with Sofia before becoming really close with her.

As those who follow the Kardashians on Instagram will know, Kylie Jenner was just on a very fancy and expensive-looking vacation to Turks and Caicos with some of her besties—including Scott Disick’s GF/potential fiancée Sofia Richie. For those of you who don’t know (and really, who are you??), Kylie and Sofia’s friendship is a little ~unique~ because Scott used to date Kylie’s sister Kourtney Kardashian and they have three children together.

Sofia has been showing up more and more on Kylie’s Instagram lately, and it seems like she’s a full-fledged member of Kylie’s friend group 2.0 (aka the one that doesn’t include Jordyn Woods). However, a source tells Us Weekly that Kylie has been putting her sister’s feelings about Sofia above her own. The source says that Kylie and Sofia have “gotten a lot closer as of late now that the Kourtney, Scott and Sofia drama has died down. Once any drama between Kourtney and Sofia blew over, Kylie felt more comfortable spending girl time with Sofia again.” The source adds, “Kylie and Sofia have always run in the same circle and are very close in age, so they’ve bonded a lot through the years. They’ve always been in the limelight, lived very similar lifestyles and grown up around a lot of the same people.”

So while it’s not clear if Kylie and Kourtney had an explicit conversation about Sofia and Kylie’s friendship, it seems like Kylie has been putting her sister’s feelings first and making sure that Kourtney is okay with it before, ya know, blasting out those BFF pics to her 141 million Instagram followers.
