It Looks Like Billie Eilish Revealed Her Massive Secret Hip Tattoo On New British Vogue Cover

In 2020, Billie Eilish quietly got her first-ever tattoo, marking a big check off her bucket list. Though she didn't post pics (😒), the singer dished on her new ink last December during her annual video update with Vanity Fair. "I did get a tattoo. But you won't ever see," she promised viewers. Well, it seems that Billie just broke that promise.
For her internet-breaking British Vogue cover, Billie transformed into a "classic, old-timey pin-up" girl, wearing nothing but sheer hosiery and fitted corsets. In the process, she accidentally revealed what appears to be the top secret ink: a massive, feathered-looking thing, which starts near her belly button and trails down her hip to her thigh.
Though the entire tattoo isn't visible, she shows off more and more of it throughout the shoot (more pictures here). Since the majority of the artwork is hidden, though, it's unclear what the design actually is. Judging by the plumage, it looks to be some sort of tropical bird or mythical creature, like a phoenix, dragon, or hippogriff.
Though Billie hasn't confirmed that this is the tattoo she referenced last year, fans are speculating that this ink is the real deal. To get more info, I DMed Instagram-famous tattoo artist Evan Kim, who is known for creating lifelike animal portraits for his clients (including myself). Due to the size and immense detail, Evan estimates that if this is a legit tattoo, it would likely take "at least five to eight hours" to complete.
