Where to dine out for Thanksgiving in Westchester: These 20 restaurants will be open

Halloween has just ended and Daylight Savings is about to end, as well, which means it's time to start making your Thanksgiving plans. For those who prefer dining out to dining in, the earlier you make your reservations the better. A sampling of Westchester restaurants — including one offering a free holiday meal — follows, so keep scrolling.

Apropos Restaurant at The Abbey Inn, Peekskill

The restaurant, which recently got a Michelin "Recommended" nod, features a $90 per person meal from noon to 6 p.m. which includes, among other options, seared jumbo Maine scallops, roasted squash risotto, Barolo braised short ribs, Hudson Valley turkey, pumpkin mousse tart, molten chocolate cake and more. 900 Fort Hill Road, 914-739-3546, aproposrestaurant.com

Augustine's Salumeria, Mamaroneck

Expect a feast full of classics and not-yet-classics at this American grill where, for $65 per person ($25 for kids), you'll find acorn squash; burrata; perogies; rice balls; traditional turkey; butternut squash ravioli; organic free range chicken; branzino; codfish and rack of lamb. Benjamin Steakhouse Westchester

Divino Cucina Italiana, Hastings-on-Hudson

Clams Oreganata, zucchini fritters and a host of homemade pastas are on the menu here for Thanksgiving as are holiday specials. Goosefeather, Tarrytown

Celebrate Thanksgiving in a mansion — the King's Mansion where Goosefeather is located — from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The three-course, prix-fixe menu is $130 per person ($75 for children under 12) and includes options in each course as well as an assortment of family-style sides for the table. A few options will also be available a la carte from the regular Goosefeather menu. Along with its regular Thanksgiving meal — think $90 for a three-course meal — the waterfront spot is also offering a Friendsgiving feast Nov. 16 with 50% off select wines by the bottle (the meal is $80 per person). Entrees — think braised short ribs, mushroom risotto and Cioppino seafood stew — are served family-style. The regular menu is being served here along with other classic Thanksgiving foods. This waterfront spot has been dishing out gourmet meals for special occasions for more than 15 years and Thanksgiving is no different. For $95 per person diners have a bounty of options, everything from jumbo coconut shrimp to a shellfish crepe to miso glazed King salmon and roasted Hudson Valley turkey with an apple and chestnut stuffing with fresh sage.
