INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

Vero Beach Seafood Festival

  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

  • Riverside Park, 3258 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach

  • Enjoy seafood, cocktails, live entertainment, shopping, a kids' zone and an interactive game on a quest to track down wanted pirates, plus a 35-foot inflatable great white shark exhibit. Bring canned goods and non-perishable food donations for the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

Florida-Style Music Fest and Block Party

  • 2-11 p.m. Saturday

  • Walking Tree Brewery, 3209 Dodger Road, Vero Beach

  • The eighth annual festival features Florida wildlife demonstrations, a live mermaid, street vendors, a kids' zone and waterslide, airboats, whip crackin' with cowboys, a charity dunk tank, food trucks, $5 beer and live music: Dave Scott and the Reckless Shots at 4 p.m., Riptide at 6 p.m. and Souljam at 8 p.m. Bring lawn chairs.

Master Gardener Volunteer Spring Plant Sale

  • 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

  • St. Lucie County Extension Office, 8400 Picos Road, Fort Pierce

  • The annual spring plants sale features native and pollinator plants, as well as different types of bromeliads, succulents and more. All plants are propagated and maintained by the Master Gardener volunteers. Proceeds benefit the volunteer scholarships and educational programming.

Mother's Day Market
