This weekend indulge in some sweet goodness during the Palm Beach Ribs, Wings & Rock Festival, don't miss Origami in the Garden at Mounts and, maybe, just maybe, learn at practical skill before the world ends during Intro to Archery at Daggerwing Nature Center. It could really come in handy in the event of a zombie apocalypse!

Savor the flavor of pure rib and wing heaven during this three-day event. The Palm Beach Ribs, Wings & Rock Festival will feature some seriously lip-smackin,' finger lickin' good wings and ribs along with multiple bands rocking the South Florida Fairgrounds. These will include The Alice Show, Rio Rio, the Seger Experience, Kenny Z, Women of Rock, The Pure Led Zepplin Experience, Start Me Up, Pure Heart and The Dark Side of the Sol. There will also be arts and crafts vendors, a car show, a corn hole tournament with a $1,000 first prize and more.

2. Guided Tour of Origami in the Garden

Join one of the experienced tour guides at Mounts for a final farewell tour of Origami in the Garden. Learn how sculptor Kevin Box developed his unique art form, which merges the beauty of origami with the permanence of museum-quality metals, while always acknowledging the help of his wife Jennifer Box and his colleagues, some of the finest origami masters in the world.

3. Sunday on the Waterfront featuring Slip & The Spinouts

Don't miss out on seeing this vintage American band as they bring a seriously-cool mix of rockabilly, western swing, old country and swinging blues and roots to downtown West Palm Beach.

4. Intro to archery at Daggerwing Nature Center

Sure you could just put on your VR goggles and sling arrows at trolls and orcs all day in some silly video game or maybe, just maybe, you could learn how to do actually shoot an arrow. Wouldn't that be a great way mix things up? Seriously, find your inner Katniss, Legolas or Robin Hood and let USA Archery-certified staff teach you the basics of archery. Ages 8 and older. 5. Beerfest at the American German Club of the Palm Beaches

This all-you-can drink biergarten picnic will feature German beer, domestic wine, soft drinks and more along with German and American fare provided by several food trucks. There will be plenty of seating under the pavilion as well as room to spread out on the shady picnic grounds.
