Luckily, the Fox Valley and beyond has an abundance of festivals and farms to visit.

Octoberfest and License to Cruise bring music, beer and cars to Appleton

From 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., eventgoers can view more than 400 classic cars, enjoy food and live music along College Avenue and at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center.
On Sept. 30, music will start as early as 9 a.m. and runs all day at several locations in downtown Appleton. The day also includes arts, crafts and a family fun area. Local nonprofit organizations run the food booths to raise money for their groups.

Concessions will be available for purchase.
Admission is $10 per carload. There is a small fee for some craft projects.
