Look: Snowboarding On The Atlantic City Boardwalk?!
Benny Milam rolled up to the Atlantic City Boardwalk and instead of gambling on the tables, he decided to try his luck on a massive handrail outside the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. With barely any snow (chopped ice brought in on a truck) and an ocean view, he used a carpet drop in and landed right on the wooden boardwalk to ride away from the huge kink right next to the famed Atlantic City ferris wheel.
Benny is one of the most talented street snowboarders of today. And even with that title, it took him a few hours to get the full rail on this trip. Definitely not the usual, the idea came from the east coast Red Bull crew to bring a last minute snowboarding hail mary to their side of the country. The winter was sub par, but this was definietly a highlight for the crew as well as everyone walking by or surfing close enough to watch. Even this out of his element, Benny was a pro and laced the full thing before calling it a day. Only time will tell if this leads to more snowboarding in AC!
