As far as legendary characters in snowboarding go, Morgan Rose aka Koonhead (coming from the fur hats he makes himself and wears while riding) is about as legendary as they come. A famed name in the Mt. Baker scene and well beyond, Morgan has been popping up at Snowboarder Mag events and plenty more around the world for over two decades. Recently meeting up with Max Warbington for a quick Brain Bowl sessions clip, Morgan found himself mere inches away from having a pretty bad day... but he has probably been even closer to mayhem attempting his impressive feats in the past.

This is not really what you want to do when flipping off a cliff. Make sure your body and head are a little bit farther away from the lip before you toss your noggin towards the ground. Morgan is an expert, so we will give him a pass, but watch out if you are inspired to get in a few spring slush inverted airs before the season is officially over. As you can tell by the support in the comments, the snowboarding world is very glad they did not see Mr. Rose knock himself out before his crash in the landing.
