SI Swimsuit Model Christie Brinkley shared the sweetest post to celebrate her two girls on National Daughters Day on Sunday, Sept. 25. She threw it back to when she, Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley-Cook posed together for SI Swimsuit in 2017.
"I have two daughters, so I feel double lucky," Brinkley, 67, wrote on Instagram. "The important thing here is I’m in-between my two, which is the sweetest thing a mom can do. They’re my salt n’pepper, my yin and yang, and hanging with them is my favorite thang! Happy #nationaldaughtersday," she wrote.
"PS And we all love it best when @jackbrinkleycook is with us too ❤️," she added, mentioning her 27-year-old son and founder of Hamptons ride-share startup Rove Loop.

The nine-time SI Swimsuit model is best known for her three consecutive SI Swimsuit covers in 1979, 1980 and 1981. Until then, no model had been on the cover even two years in a row.
"This is a real full circle moment for me," Christie said of the 2017 shoot in Turks & Caicos. "I can get very emotional about this. How many years ago, I was that insecure girl hoping that I would be good enough for the magazine. So to see my daughters now having the same thoughts I had, and to be able to see them actually be there on the job, was definitely a big moment. I couldn't even believe my ears when I got the call that MJ wanted to shoot my daughters and me. I was thrilled."

36-year-old Alexa Ray, Brinkley's daughter with singer Billy Joel, commented on the post: "Love you so Mamacita."
Her younger daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook continued following in her mom's footsteps and modeled again for SI Swimsuit in 2018.
