Netflix's latest limited series is a spin on Patricia Highsmith's bestselling Tom Ripley novels, starring Andrew Scott in the titular role.
Following a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, Ripley gets hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom's acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder.
The streaming service has dropped the official trailer following the teaser they released in January, which details more of what to expect from Steven Zaillian's series.
We see a charming Andrew Scott mixing it up among the noir imagery as he remains calm and collected in the thick of his lies.
Scott is joined by co-stars Dakota Fanning who plays Marge Sherwood, Johnny Flynn, playing Dickie Greenleaf, with Eliot Sumner, Maurizio Lombardi, Margherita Buy, John Malkovich, Kenneth Lonergan and Ann Cusack.
