This ‘Long Lost’ Episode Of Bob Ross Features The Artist Painting A Mountain Dew-Inspired Scene

In today's "I didn't see that coming" news, Mountain Dew is teaming up with The Bob Ross Company to release a "long lost" episode of The Joy of Painting. The episode is set to premiere on YouTube in a couple days so you have enough time to get your own painting supplies and gear up for the easy-to-follow tutorial.

On March 6, Mountain Dew will be releasing the never-before-seen episode on YouTube and Mountain Dew fans will be able to chat with one another on the YouTube premiere platform. The video will include a long-form tutorial of how to paint a Mountain Dew-inspired scene on canvas. According to the press release, you can be sure to add some "happy little droplets" to your art in true Bob Ross fashion.

Vice President of Marketing at Mountain Dew, Nicole Portwood, said that the partnership is meant to help soda fans embrace creativity in a fun way. "Bob Ross is a legend and a cultural icon, not just for those who grew up watching him live but with a new generation of people who have come to appreciate his creativity, his democratic approach to art, his focus on love of self and the natural world, and his ability to spread joy even amidst chaos," she said in a press release. "It's an absolute honor for DEW to make this 'lost episode' for all to enjoy and try their hand a creating a masterpiece with Mr. Ross' guidance."

For those that follow along, a select group of TikTok influencers will be giving away Bob Ross paint kits that will include a small blank canvas, oil paints, brushes, travel easel, custom apron, and more, that will be available after the release. The finished art piece from the official episode will also be available for auction will all proceeds going to charity, so mark your calendars for March 6, y'all!
