What is the 'how long does a tall person live' joke on TikTok?
People are pranking their tall friends using an incorrect estimate of tall people's lifespans. The "How long does a tall person live?" joke is quickly spreading on TikTok thanks to some flawed Google search results. It all started when a user Googled "How long does a tall person live?" and got the answer "13 to 14 years" as the top result. It's obviously, completely incorrect that tall people die so young, which is part of what makes the prank so funny to TikTokers. Then they serenade their tall friends with lyrics from Zara Larsson's "Never Forget You" over text as if to eulogize them. In the song Larrson sings, "I will never forget / you will always be by my side / from the day that I met you". TikToker @theyluvnevaehmoree pulled off the prank with her friend who simply asked, "Why?" about her strange messages. The user @toemeat._otheraccount Google searched "how long do short people live" and showed the result, "10 to 13 years"
