London Fashion Week Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Fall 2024 Lineup

LONDON — London Fashion Week will mark its 40th anniversary next year.

The physical and digital shows and a host of cocktail parties, openings and dinners will run between Feb. 16 and 20.

The fall 2024 showcase will include the city’s big names such as Burberry, JW Anderson, Roksanda, Erdem and Simone Rocha.

Dunhill will be returning to the calendar with a revamped look under its new creative director, Simon Holloway.

In April, WWD broke the news that Holloway would be joining the brand from the Richemont-owned Purdey.

Dunhill, which celebrated its 130th anniversary this year, will be one of the opening acts on the first day of London Fashion Week. The brand last showed on a runway in 2020 during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

Other brands showing on the opening that Friday will include Huishan Zhang, Chet Lo and Tolu Coker, another newcomer to the runway format.

Saturday’s lineup will consist of the elegant thinkers such as Roksanda, David Koma, Erdem, Richard Quinn, Ahluwalia, 16Arlington, and Simone Rocha, as well as the likes of Harri, Robyn Lynch and Labrum London.

Sunday morning will offer Emilia Wickstead and JW Anderson followed by Eudon Choi, Tove, Holzweiler, Conner Ives, Aaron Esh, Saul Nash and Dilara Findikoglu, who is also returning to the schedule after dropping out last season due to the difficulties of being a young designer.

Burberry’s Daniel Lee will present his third runway show on Monday; others showing on the same day will include Di Petsa, Edeline Lee, Yuhan Wang and Susan Fang.

Marques’ Almeida and Knwls, who have both been absent from London Fashion Week, will be coming back to its runways.

Some 11 labels will be showing their designs at the BFC Newgen Show Space at The Old Selfridges Hotel with support from the retailer.
