Logan Paul is back in the headlines after claiming that a hot-headed fan tried to attack him during his brother Jake’s Aug. 5 match against Nate Diaz.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer shared the story on a recent episode of his podcast Impaulsive, where he and Jake chatted with co-hosts Mike Majlak and Jeff Wittek about the alleged incident.

“There was an actual in-crowd altercation that went down,” Majlak said while turning to Jake. “I don’t know if you saw this, but there was someone from the opposing aisle who tried to get at Logan Paul in this audience. They tried to put hands on your brother.”

According to the podcasters, multiple people, including Logan and Jake’s dad, Greg Paul, were involved in the incident.

“He went to smack Dad in the face, and it was the weakest strike I think I’ve ever seen,” Logan shared.

“Greg — with one hand — taps him, and he sprawls over like eight chairs and tries to get up, and then a cop was coming in,” Logan recalled. “I could tell he had bad intent. I don’t know this guy, and it’s in the middle of Round 9. Get the f*** out of here.”

In a video clip of the podcast, which is now going viral on YouTube, Logan is seen with a black eye. But apparently, it didn’t come from the unnamed fan — it came from the professional wrestler Ricochet, who Logan fought at the WWE SummerSlam just hours before he showed up for Jake’s match.

In fact, it doesn’t seem as though the fan was actually able to lay hands on Logan before others intervened, and ultimately, the YouTuber shrugged off his would-be attacker as “just a goon trying to make a name for himself.”

The Paul family was in the news recently after Netflix released its Untold documentary about Jake Paul. In it, both brothers discuss how their father’s strictness played a role in their upbringing.

“[He] was so hard and so tough on us that my brother and I’s imagination really started to flare up,” Jake explained.

“Jake may throw around the word ‘abusive’; I prefer ‘not quite legal,’” Logan said. “We’ve been through some s***, dude. It wasn’t fun; it was f***ing torture, bro. But when you survive that s***, you become tough as f***.”
