If you thought winning the lottery was the only near-impossible way of bringing in some extra cash, you haven’t heard of Baxters Loch Ness Marathon. To claim the top prize, one must first huff and puff through 26 miles. Then comes the really hard part: crossing the finish line with photographic evidence of Scotland’s notorious lake monster, Nessie. Complete both and you’ll walk away with $75,000—as long as your photo evidence proves the real deal.

On Sept. 27, runners from all over the world will take on the scenic course, and considering the legendary monster’s timid history, the stunning views are set to be the real takeaway in this race.

It seems everyone is in on the search for the reality cloaked in myth—even Google. Never fear, couch potatoes. If marathoning isn’t your cup of tea, you can get in on the monster tracking (and all of the selfie-taking) on Twitter and Instagram at #nessieselfie.
