Local moms celebrating Mother’s Day with a tea party with princesses

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Local mom and daughter pairs celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday by attending a tea party with princesses.

The third annual tea party was held at the Drury Plaza Hotel.

At the tea party, moms and daughters could do crafts, do some dancing, and even have a sing-along with their favorite princesses.

“Honoring our mothers and princesses is something that mothers can connect with their daughters a lot with. You know those classic stories, the princess going through the story and ending up with her happily ever after. So Mother’s Day just seemed like a great time to be able to celebrate that connection between mothers and their daughters,” said Rapunzel.

Rapunzel is encouraging moms to bring their daughters the the magical event next year.
