Lizzo's Tiny Bag and Crystal Manicure Stole the Show at the American Music Awards
Lizzo may have left the American Music Awards without any trophies in hand, but she definitely won the award for tiniest bag ever seen on a red carpet.
The singer accessorized with custom crystal nail art, all the better to show off her teeny tiny Valentino purse.
"@maisonvalentino bag big enough for my fucks to give. Big body bitch in a Valentin-HO custom look for @amas," she wrote on Instagram. As for what she had inside, Lizzo joked to PopSugar, "Oh I've got tampons in here, a flask of tequila, condoms."
The swaggy manicure was designed by Eri Ishizu, who described the nail look as "ice bubbles x Valentino." Underneath all those crystals is the OPI shade Glitter To My Heart, a shimmery silver color that's the perfect base for the dozens of crystals it anchors.
Lizzo's AMAs beauty look was on point from head to toe. In addition to the icy manicure, she dressed for the occasion in a monochromatic orange beauty look that paired perfectly with her flirty, ruffled creamsicle dress. She had just as much fun with her hair, opting for an I Dream of Jeannie-inspired high ponytail with lots of waves and flips.
Stylist Marko Monroe put it best when he described Lizzo as an "iconic orange queen" on Instagram. "So proud of this angel, for always being ready to put the wink back into the red carpet," he wrote.
