Lizzo has made it extremely clear that she lives life on her own terms. And, because of her no-BS approach to, well, everything and her arsenal of chart-topping songs, she’s now reportedly one of the richest rappers out there.

But Lizzo hasn’t always been loaded—she dropped out of college and lived in her car for several months before making it big, according to Rolling Stone. She never gave up, though. And these days, Lizzo's doing quite well for herself.

So, how did this queen make her millions and what’s her net worth? Here’s what you need to know.

How much has Lizzo made from her songs?

Most of Lizzo’s money comes from making music which totally makes sense considering almost everything she touches turns to musical gold.

She’s earned 16.5 million certified units in digital singles, according to RIAA, which is more than Machine Gun Kelly and Aerosmith, TYVM.

How much has she made from touring?

Touring tends to be a big moneymaker for musicians, and Lizzo is no exception. Her Cuz I Love You Too tour in 2019 earned $8.8 million, according to Billboard.

She is going on tour with her new 2022 album, Special, later this fall. And if you're trying to catch her in NYC, those tickets look like they're going to cost you $270 or more a piece. Phew!

She also has done endorsement deals.

Lizzo has actually done a lot of endorsement deals with some pretty huge brands. Some of the biggies include:

  • Dove

  • Urban Decay

  • Absolut Vodka

  • Google Pixel 6

  • Logitech

  • Quay

It’s not clear how much she’s made from each of them, but they’ve got to be at least relatively lucrative.

She started a new shapewear brand.

Yup, Lizzo joined the ranks of Rihanna and Kim K with her own clothing brand.

In 2022, she launched Yitty in partnership with Fabletics. The brand is meant to be “no-shame, smile-inducing shapewear designed for all body types from size 6X to XS, centered around self-love,” according to the Yitty website.

Yitty, which launched in April of 2022, also “blurs the lines of inner and outerwear with intentional-meets-functional designs,” the website says.

It's unclear exactly how much Lizzo has made from this business venture, but being tied to a profitable business like Fabletics is definitely a good sign. Forbes reported that in 2020, Fabletics was making more than $400 million in annual revenue, according to Glossy.

She has a reality show.

Lizzo’s reality show, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, is out now on Amazon Prime Video and was the network’s most streamed show in March. JIC you haven’t seen it, the show Lizzo searches for women to join Lizzo’s Big Grrrls, i.e. her back-up dancers, for her tour.

Again, no direct number here for how much she inked the deal for, but Amazon Prime Video is a major streaming platform, so it was likely a good chunk of change.

She owns a mansion.

…As one does when you’re a super successful recording artist, of course. Lizzo’s Los Angeles home is worth a whopping $26 million, according to House Digest. It features a personal Hall of Fame, indoor-outdoor entertaining space, and huge walk-in closet, according to Vogue India.

What’s her total net worth?

So after allllll of that, it turns out that Lizzo is worth $12 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Sounds like this musical queen is living quite comfortably. YGG!
