Lizzo Unveils Her Yitty Shapewear Brand’s First-ever Swimwear Collection Designed With Inclusive Sizing From 6X to XS

Lizzo and Yitty are ready for summer. The Grammy-winner is launching her first swimwear collection on Monday, which will be available exclusively on the brand’s website.

The new collection of swimsuit styles comes on the cusp of the company’s two-year anniversary. Styles incorporate the same shaping and smoothing technology found in Yitty’s signature Nearly Naked shapewear collection. Lizzo is a cofounder of the shapewear brand.

The collection features seven silhouettes ranging from cheeky to full coverage, available in six colors and one print. Each piece of swimwear features double-layered tricot compression zones strategically hidden in the waist and belly areas to comfortably smooth and cinch curves.

“After hundreds of requests for swimsuits from our Yitty committee, customers and fans, I am excited to introduce Yitty Shaping Swim — The Evolution of Swimwear — no more soggy suits,” Lizzo said in a statement. “We have spent the past two years infusing our bestselling, groundbreaking shapewear technology into water-friendly sexy, swim silhouettes for every damn body — so now I can finally stop wearing Nearly Naked in my pool,” the singer said.

“We’re making a splash into the swim category to offer more supportive swimwear that’s comfortable and makes you feel great. Who else gon’ give you all that and more in sizes 6X to XS?! It’s about damn time!” The swimsuits are also sustainably designed with recycled nylon spandex, are chlorine resistant and feature adjustable straps for the ideal fit.

Lizzo cofounded Yitty, named after her childhood moniker, in March 2022 with Fabletics Inc. In January 2023, the brand launched its collection of underwear and bras, featuring bralettes, high-waisted briefs, bodysuits and thongs in shades of neon lime green and rosé, as well as black, brown, nude and white.

Yitty initially launched with three collections — Nearly Naked, Mesh Me and Major Label. The brand expanded with collections like the Pet Me, Headliner and Smoothed Reality lines, which merge shapewear, loungewear, activewear and intimates categories.
