Lizzo Stuns in Red Maison Valentino Dress and Manolo Blahnik Heels on Cover of Vogue

Vogue’s October issue is sure to be a hit with Lizzo gracing the covers in a flowing red Maison Valentino dress discussing her thoughts on positive mentality, racial injustice and the upcoming election.

Dressed in black Manolo Blahnik heels and Jason of Beverly Hills earrings and jewelry from Tiffany & Co., the American singer has her hair pulled up in a tight top knot, crowning her head.

“I am the first big black woman on the cover of @voguemagazine. The first black anything feels overdue,” Lizzo wrote. “But our time has come. To all my black girls, if someone like you hasn’t done it yet— BE THE FIRST.”

Her Manolo Blahnik pumps are designed with a classic pointed-toe and come in black suede with leather lining and a padded insole, making for the perfect closet staple. The heels retail for $665 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

In other gorgeous shots from the photoshoot, the “Truth Hurts” singer shows of a number of incredible looks from a pink taffeta dress by Moschino Couture to a beaded top and skirt by LaQuan Smith.

Lizzo, who lives in Los Angeles, has kept busy this summer while staying safely quarantined in her home. Frequently updating her TikTok with trending dance routines and glimpses into her everyday life including home-cooked meals and stream-of-conscious dialogue, Lizzo uses her social media platform to connect with her fans.

Earlier this week, Lizzo wore a daring weekend ensemble with a brocade patterned gold, black and white set paired with embellished slip-on mules. Her shoes appeared to be a signature silhouette from Sophia Webster, coated in rainbow gems and on sale for $357 at Farfetch.com.
