They're basically the holy trinity of the Grammys.

Lizzo was so shocked that she won the Record of the Year Grammy that she began her speech with the very relatable phrase: "Umm, huh?!"

She immediately jumped into expressing gratitude for her Adele, with whom she sat near the stage (and had some sips before her win was announced) and record-shattering Beyoncé.

"Let me tell you something, me and Adele just having a good time just rooting for our friends," Lizzo began. "I want to dedicate this award to Prince. When we lost Prince I decided to dedicate my life to making positive music ... I don't care if my positivity bothers you, what's wrong with you?!"

"I felt very misunderstood. I felt on the outside looking in, but I stayed true to myself because I wanted to make the world a better place, so I had to be that change to make the world a better place," she said. "Now I look around and there are all these songs about loving our bodies and feeling good in our skin." Lizzo added that the movement to love ourselves as we are reminded her that there's good in the world and essentially restored her faith in humanity: "We are good, inherently."

She offered an inspiring message to anyone who may not feel understood, urging the audience, "Stay true to yourself because I promise you, you will find people, you will attract people, who will believe in you and support you."

Those people for Lizzo include her team, her family, her friends and her boyfriend Myke Wright, who she described as "my man who holds me down."

Then came her bow down to the Queen.

"Beyonce, phew! In the fifth grade I skipped school to see you perform. My sister, she got me out of school, it was literature, I'm good," she said, eliciting a laugh from the crowd.

"You changed my life. You sang that gospel medley and the way you made me feel, I was like, 'I want to make people feel like this way with my music,'" she gushed. "So thank you so much. You clearly are the artist of our lives. I love you."
